Bevvy Boat

An RC boat that delivers drinks and snacks in your pool. That’s what I searched for online and only found one model that had been discontinued. So why not build one? My design is inspired by the Excalibur Snack Float – a fun looking model, but the performance looked underwhelming in the one video I found. I 3D printed the hull in four sections and added some cheap brushless thrusters from AliExpress for propulsion. A 4S LiPo powers two water cooled 30 amp ESCs – plenty of power! To make it a little more fun, I added a few other bits and pieces. A 3S powered 12 volt water cannon packs a punch for pool guests! A sound system with MP3 player and 2 inch full range speaker plays music or shouts commands. FPV provides a video feed back to the boat’s captain. And just for fun, there’s a tiny little flag pole powered by a 360 degree servo for engaging ‘pirate mode’. All of these are controlled with receiver controlled switches via a Spektrum DX8 transmitter. This was a fun little build and should be fun for the Australian summer!
